Please note your GP practice cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 status.
The NHS COVID Pass allows you to show others that you’ve had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine when travelling abroad to some countries or territories. The NHS COVID Pass is available if you:
- have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine (a full course is currently 2 doses of any approved vaccine)
- were vaccinated in England
- are aged 16 or over
The NHS COVID Pass is available in digital or paper format and you can access your NHS COVID Pass 2 weeks after having your second dose of the vaccine. (Please note that your NHS appointment card from vaccination centres cannot be used to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccine status.)
You should check the entry requirements for your destination country on the GOV.UK foreign travel advice pages and get up-to-date information from the website of your destination country.
